Known for her vibrant personality, infectious smile, and genuine love for people, Katie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, friendship, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Born on December 11, 1990, in Thomaston, Georgia, Katie was a bright presence from an early age. She possessed a natural ability to connect with others and quickly became known for her outgoing spirit and welcoming nature. Friends and family often described her as someone who never met a stranger. Her warmth, humor, and ability to make people feel valued allowed her to form lasting relationships wherever life took her.

Katie’s gift for bringing people together became one of the defining characteristics of her life. Whether through family gatherings, conversations with friends, or everyday interactions with customers and coworkers, she created meaningful connections that left a lasting impact on those around her. Her laughter was contagious, her stories unforgettable, and her presence a source of joy for many.

Katie is lovingly remembered by her parents, Leanne Gregory, David Lamb and his wife Amanda, and Greg Massey; her grandmother Ann Gregory; her grandparents Ronnie and June Massey; her sister Emily Hensler and husband Hunter; and her beloved niece and nephew, Amelia and Lane Hensler. She also leaves behind cherished friends Paige Corley, Chris White, and Francies Anderson, whose friendships became an extension of her family.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Victor Gregory, her grandparents P.D. and Peggy Lamb, and her niece-by-choice, Alina Wigglesworth, whose memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

As family and friends gather to honor her memory, they do so with profound sadness but also with gratitude for the love and happiness Katie brought into their lives. Her legacy is one of compassion, friendship, resilience, and joy—a legacy that will continue to live on through the countless memories shared by those who knew and loved her.
